Kristin Duff, PA

Kristin Duff grew up in the Northern Virginia area and attended Robinson High School. She competed as an elite level gymnast and was on the United States National Team. Kristin attended the University of Michigan and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with honors. While at the University of Michigan she competed on the varsity women's gymnastic team all four years and was an Academic All-American. Due to several injuries requiring surgery, Kristin decided to continue her education as a Physician Assistant and specialize in orthopaedics. She attended the George Washington University and earned a Masters degree of Science in Health Sciences as a Physician Assistant. She currently works in sports medicine with Dr. George C. Branche, III. Kristin enjoys traveling, baking, outdoor activities, and competing in triathlons across the country. |
Kari Kober, PA-C

Kari Kober is a certified physician assistant for Dr. Jeffrey Lovallo. She is a Northern Virginia native and graduated from C.D. Hylton High School in Woodbridge, VA. She was a member of the Volleyball team, the Troubadour and Concert Choirs, and a Teen Counselor for middle school students. Kari co-captained a two-time state high school championship volleyball team, received state and regional awards and was a Washington Post All-Metropolitan selection her senior year. She attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and was a member of the Volleyball team for 4 years where she received All-Academic honors all 4 years. After working over five years as an accountant, Kari decided to enter the health care profession and become a Physician Assistant. She attended Shenandoah University located in Winchester, VA and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. While at Shenandoah, Kari participated in two medical mission trips to Nicaragua and the Global Citizenship Project which allowed her to travel to the United Arab Emirates and Oman. She was also proud to be involved in other Shenandoah volunteer and community activities including her involvement in the PA program’s first annual fundraiser event to benefit local and national charities. Kari enjoys cooking, traveling, sports, music & entertainment, fitness, and continues to play volleyball in the local area competing in national and regional indoor tournaments. |

Jeanine Gargiulo, PA
Jeanine Gargiulo is a Northern Virginia native who attended Park View High School in Sterling, VA. She was the dance team captain for two years and a member of the state champion softball team. She attended Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania where she graduated with honors and received her Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physician Assistant Science degrees. She traveled abroad in Parma, Italy and wrote her Masters capstone on Osteoporosis. While at Saint Francis, she played Division I softball for the Red Flash and holds the record for the most innings pitched in the NEC. She was named in the Saint Francis University Honor Society, North East Conference Academic Honor Roll, Saint Francis University Department of Athletics Honor Roll, Who’s Who among Students in American Universities & Colleges, and received the NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete Award. Jeanine is a member of the AAPA and a board certified Physician Assistant for Dr. William G. Hamilton. She enjoys reading, beach trips, and being active in sports such as softball, kickball, and racquetball.

Kristen Speargas, PA
Kristen Speargas is a board certified physician assistant for Dr. Jeffrey Lovallo. Prior to joining Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic, she worked as a PA in the emergency department at Virginia Hospital Center. Kristen grew up in a rural area north of Baltimore, Maryland and was a competitive gymnast throughout her entire childhood. She went on to play volleyball and lacrosse for her high school, as well as perform on the dance team. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from James Madison University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Biology minor. While attending JMU she performed as a member of the Madison Dance Club. She was a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Golden Key National Honor Society, and was also awarded for Outstanding Achievement in Statistics and Research. She then continued on to The George Washington University where she received a Master of Science in Health Sciences through completion of the Physician Assistant Program and also served as a physiology tutor for her classmates. Kristen enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, dancing, music, and sports.
